BT Wales has commissioned the social and economic research company Wavehill to undertake research which will explore the economic opportunities presented by improved broadband, mobile, 5G and digital technology for the agriculture and tourism sectors in rural Wales.

Questions in the survey which are focused on the following issues:

  • Gaining insights from sector leaders/ambassadors on the importance of digital technology and how/where businesses within the sectors should exploit it
  • Opportunities and challenges – exploring barriers to adoption, covering technology, data exploitation and skills, and opportunities
