Cardiff-based firm Tailwind has appointed Yasmin Wright as executive operations manager as it continues to grow its work with founders, leaders and investors across the UK.

In her role, Wright will work alongside the co-founders and Growth Partners to coordinate planning, delivery and internal operations.

Before joining Tailwind, Wright spent more than three years supporting the practice owners of The Whites Dental Centre in Radyr, combining business administration, diary management and patient communication. She previously held visual merchandising and management roles at Zara and AllSaints. Her remit at Tailwind includes executive support, finance administration, supplier management, communications and events, alongside the use of AI tools to streamline processes.

Tailwind works with leadership teams, boards, investors and lenders, particularly during periods of increased pressure or change, including growth, investment, exit and employee ownership. It works alongside businesses to make practical improvements that strengthen day-to-day performance and build value.

Co-founder and chairman Matthew Tossell said:

“We work with businesses where execution is often the challenge, not ideas. To do that well for clients, we need to maintain strong foundations internally. Yasmin brings a structured, reliable approach that will support Tailwind as we grow.”

Yasmin said:

“I am excited to have joined Tailwind in its first year and to be part of a team that works closely with businesses to achieve their ambitions. I will focus on maintaining strong operational structure and systems, ensuring we continue to deliver consistently high standards of service and communication as we grow.”

Tailwind was founded in 2025 by Nigel Griffiths, Angharad Neagle and Matthew Tossell, and works with a network of more than 30 Growth Partners, all experienced entrepreneurs and senior leaders, to support its clients across the UK. The firm is based in the Creative Quarter, Morgan Arcade, Cardiff.
