Welsh steel-framed building manufacturer Shufflebottom is celebrating a double award success in its 40th anniversary year, winning manufacturing titles at both the Carmarthenshire Business Awards and Insider’s Made in Wales Awards.
The Cross Hands-based company was named Manufacturing Business of the Year at the Carmarthenshire Business Awards in July, followed by Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m) at the Made in Wales Awards on 1st October.
Together, the two wins bring both local and national recognition to the Carmarthenshire business, which has been designing, manufacturing and supplying steel-framed buildings for customers across the UK for four decades.
Shufflebottom’s work spans agricultural, equestrian, industrial and commercial buildings, with each project developed around the customer’s requirements. Its Cross Hands operation brings together the skills needed to take a building from an initial enquiry through design and detailing to fabrication, delivery and erection.
Shufflebottom’s directors said:
“Winning two manufacturing awards in our 40th anniversary year is something we’re very proud of, and that success belongs to the people across our business. From our workshop and office teams to our transport staff and sales representatives, everyone has played a part.
“We’d like to thank our colleagues for the hard work and commitment behind both wins, and our customers, suppliers and partners for their continued support. Having so much to celebrate makes this anniversary year particularly special.”
