A legal practice has welcomed one of North Wales’s most prominent family law solicitors.
Solicitor Rachel Wynn Jones has joined the team at Mackenzie Jones, bringing more than 30 years' of specialist family law experience.
Rachel has spent her career supporting clients through divorce and family matters, with expertise particularly among agricultural communities.
The firm said her appointment further strengthens the company’s family department, where she will work alongside founding director Richard Jones and solicitor Jade Liptrot, as Mackenzie Jones responds to increasing demand for these services.
Rachel said:
“I’ve specialised in divorce throughout my career, often supporting families in rural and farming communities. It’s always been about guiding people through what can be one of the most challenging times of their lives, with dignity and a common-sense approach.
“I’ve seen many changes over the years – most recently the introduction of the no-fault divorce – and it is vital clients receive clear, compassionate advice as and when the law changes.”
She added:
“Mackenzie Jones is a highly respected firm with a strong name in this area.
“Everyone has been so welcoming and there are many faces I already knew from across the courtroom. I’ll be based in St Asaph and will also work out of our offices in Menai Bridge and Chester.”
Richard said:
“Rachel is well respected and the perfect fit for our team. She’s an outstanding solicitor and already attracting new clients. What’s been especially heartening is hearing how quickly she’s felt at home here.”
Fellow director Anna Mills Morgan added:
“Rachel is an incredible addition to Mackenzie Jones. Her experience and reputation make her a huge asset to our company.”
The firm has also recently recruited Adam Hazell, Rebekah Woods and Elen Roberts, while Matthew Skeels and Hannah Oakes have been promoted to director.
Mackenzie Jones has offices in St Asaph, Chester and Menai Bridge.
