Mortgage advisers and business owners will have the opportunity to explore strategies for growth, investment and succession at a free OneDome Discovery Day taking place in Cardiff.
Hosted by OneDome Growth Partners, the event will take place on Thursday 12 November 2026, bringing together mortgage professionals interested in building, growing and scaling their businesses.
The event will feature OneDome founder and CEO Babek Ismayil, who will explore the factors that contribute to the value of a mortgage business, including what it takes to build a business worth £1 million and how owners can plan for a future exit.
The morning programme will introduce OneDome’s Seed, Grow and Scale framework, designed to support mortgage businesses at different stages of development.
Key topics will include:
- Developing and growing a mortgage business
- Recruiting advisers and improving productivity
- Using technology to support business efficiency and customer experience
- Exploring investment and acquisition opportunities
- Planning for succession and business exit
The event will begin with registration and coffee at 9.30am, followed by an introduction to OneDome at 10am.
Attendees will then hear about the Seed, Grow and Scale framework, alongside a technology and platform demonstration, an open discussion and question-and-answer session.
A networking lunch will take place at 12.30pm.
Selected businesses will also have the opportunity to request confidential one-to-one meetings during the afternoon to discuss individual priorities, including growth strategy, recruitment, investment, acquisitions and succession planning.
The event is aimed at mortgage advisers, brokerage owners and business principals, from those establishing smaller firms to established businesses considering expansion, investment or exit opportunities.
Attendance at the morning Discovery Session is free, with interested businesses invited to register their interest.
