Katrina Cinus has been appointed as the new conference and events manager at the University of South Wales, where she will be responsible for promoting the academic venue’s wide range of event spaces in Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd.
Katrina joined University of South Wales following 17 years’ experience running high profile events, marketing and PR campaigns for both the private and public sector. Her main role will be to develop the breadth of corporate clients using USW for events, meetings, training sessions and group residential bookings.
Katrina said:
“I chose University of South Wales because I was looking for my next career step combining both my marketing and event management experience and this role is perfect.
“I have a fabulous team running the events here so I’m less hands-on these days on the event management and more focused on business development and promotion of the facilities to new organisations and through existing stakeholder relationships. I’m looking forward to the new challenge.”
