Showcasing the Best of Welsh Business

Llanmoor Homes and Pobl Group Partnership

With the phase one already completed and phase two under way and due for build completion during late 2021, Amanda Davies, Group Chief Executive of Pobl Group and Neil Barber, Managing Director joined Tim Grey, Sales Director of Llanmoor Homes, at Hawtin Meadows in Pontllanfraith, near Blackwood.

Llanmoor Homes has a proven track record of delivering high quality affordable homes for housing associations and local authorities as well as their open market sale homes across South Wales.

Sales Director Mr Grey said:

“We are delighted to be working with Pobl as to construction of a total of 58 Affordable homes at this very popular development, providing homes for those who are currently unable to purchase at their full open market value or to rent at open market rental value.”

“We have already completed and seen the occupation of 18 Affordable homes within the first phase, all of which have been finished to our well renowned and multi award winning high standards. These homes have been carefully planned to integrate into the overall mix of new builds at the development and recent occupiers appear to be over the moon living in their lovely new homes.”

“As a truly Welsh, family owned new home developer who have been building very high quality homes across South Wales for over 53 years, Llanmoor are very excited to be making a significant contribution at this and many of their other developments to assist in achieving Welsh Assembly Governments open market and Affordable housing targets.  Not only are these homes providing much needed housing to all sectors of the market in the Caerphilly Borough, but their construction is creating a large number of jobs through both direct employment of trades people and generating more business for local retailers by bringing new residents to the area.”

“We take a great pride in the construction of every single home and ensure that our homeowners gain the best possible purchase experience. We want our homeowners to enjoy their beautiful new Llanmoor Home for many years and this philosophy is applied to every single home the Company constructs.”

Pobl Group is Wales’ largest housing association, managing over 15,000 homes, and employing more than 2,500 people. The group currently has 39 developments ongoing with the construction of 918 homes in progress, including 225 affordable, energy efficient homes at Parc Eirin in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Additionally, Reserved Matters planning approval has been granted for a collaborative project with Coastal Housing to develop a new community of 144 zero carbon homes at Gwynfaen Farm to the west of Swansea.

Amanda Davies, Group Chief Executive, Pobl Group said:

“Llanmoor Homes are at the forefront in Wales in terms of both the high quality of build and customer experience, with first class after care and values that truly match Pobl’s outlook. We are delighted to be working in partnership with them at Hawtin Meadows.

“As a Welsh, family owned business they are committed to creating high quality homes in Wales, without compromise. This collaboration will deliver 58 affordable homes of the highest standard for Pobl, helping us towards achieving our five-year target to build 3,000 homes by 2021.”
