A law firm is teaming up with a charity for a special event for people with disabilities and additional needs.
Cerebral Palsy Cymru will be joining Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors at the Kidz to Adultz event at the International Convention Centre in Newport on July 1, providing fun activities and chatting to parents and children about the support on offer.
Lucy Small, of Lanyon Bowdler, said the firm had helped numerous families who had been affected by serious injuries or conditions like cerebral palsy.
“We are really looking forward to attending the Kidz to Adultz conference in Newport, where we will be sharing a stand with Cerebral Palsy Cymru,” she said.
“It’s a great opportunity to meet lots of people with a range of challenges who need some extra support to enable them to live their best lives.
“Our clinical negligence team has developed a reputation for being one of the most knowledgeable and renowned in England and Wales, fighting to ensure our clients get the justice and compensation they deserve.
“Alongside the team from Cerebral Palsy Cymru, we will be on hand to answer any questions about how the legal process works, how a successful claim can change people’s lives and providing information on the wide range of services our firm is able to offer families.
“We will also be having some fun with a face painter and bubble machine, plus we will be handing out bottles of bubbles and Lanyon Bowdler teddy bears, so it’s going to be a great event.”

Carwyn Williams, of Cerebral Palsy Cymru, said the conference was a good opportunity to raise awareness about the charity and how it can help people.
“We are delighted to be sharing a stand with Lanyon Bowdler at the Kidz to Adultz event,” he said. “Being the parent of a child diagnosed with cerebral palsy can be very difficult, and we provide free support to families in Wales in a variety of ways.
“One of the most important elements of our support is the Better Start, Better Future early intervention service, as the first two years of a child’s life is a vital window of opportunity for specialist intervention.
“So we are looking forward to sharing information about that, along with our new private therapy service, which we can now offer to children following the free early intervention service, through to adults.
“The event is just a great chance to meet people of all ages who might need our support, so we are really looking forward to it.”
