Fast-growing global insurance group Howden has announced its move to a larger office in Cardiff as it plans for further growth.
The firm, which has grown by 24 staff since it first launched in the region in 2023, has moved to a space on the ground floor of Global Reach, Dunleavy Drive in the Bay region.
In its first year the staff doubled in size, with a current team of 25 across its Swansea and Cardiff offices. Howden aims to become one of the largest broking companies in South Wales.
The firm has also increased its ties with the local community, from fundraising to local sponsorships. Most recently, Howden raised £3,800 for local charities through hosting two British & Irish Lions watch party events in Cardiff and Swansea, alongside recently sponsoring the Rest Bay Nipper’s Carnival.
