The successful applicants are Mrs Annwen Morgan and Dr Caroline Turner, both of whom hail from Anglesey.
Annwen Morgan has been the Head teacher at Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern since 2007 and Caroline Turner currently works as a Senior Civil Servant with the Welsh Government in Cardiff.
Anglesey Chief Executive, Dr Gwynne Jones, explained, “I’m pleased to announce the appointment of our two new assistant chief executives and officially welcome both Annwen and Caroline to the Isle of Anglesey County Council.”
“They will be starting their new roles shortly, and I very much look forward to working with them.”
The new appointments form part of a process to streamline senior management at the Authority which will lead to savings of at least £250,000. The restructuring process will lead to deletion of four senior posts – namely those of Deputy Chief Executive and three Corporate Directors.
