Cardiff has welcomed a new indoor leisure and social space following the successful launch of The 19th at The Maltings last week.
Designed to offer something distinct for Cardiff and South Wales, The 19th addresses the challenge of playing outdoors during colder weather while catering to seasoned players and complete beginners alike.
At the core of the venue is a high-spec indoor golf simulator room, featuring an expansive 5-metre by 3-metre screen powered by cutting-edge, immersive technology for a realistic playing experience. Complementing the simulator is a dedicated social lounge complete with pool, darts, comfortable seating and a large-screen TV, creating a relaxed atmosphere for groups and individuals.
Beyond casual catch-ups with friends, The 19th is ideally equipped for businesses looking to enhance employee benefit packages, host an engaging team-building event or entertain clients.
Using a premium indoor teaching environment and advanced simulator technology, lessons can take place year-round, helping golfers understand their swing, track progress and build confidence on the course. Coaching at The 19th is led by Gareth Bennett, a Cardiff-based PGA Professional with extensive experience helping beginners, recreational golfers and experienced players improve their game through in-person simulator sessions at the venue and remote video reviews.

We created The 19th to offer something a little different for Cardiff and South Wales, particularly as we head into the winter months when getting out on a real golf course becomes increasingly difficult.
