SJ Roberts Homes has started work on its plans to bring 29 open market homes to Newtown.
Preliminary construction on site, which is located off Llanidloes Road, and which will be known as Penson Gardens, has commenced and the first properties will be available to reserve from spring 2025. The homes will be a variety of semi-detached and detached dwellings ranging in size from one-, through to four-bedroom properties. All will be available for sale on the open market.

Welshpool-based SJ Roberts Homes, part of the SJ Roberts Group, was established in 2016 and has since delivered several developments across Shropshire. Its most recent one, Allscott Meads which is located between Shrewsbury and Telford on the site of a former sugar beet factory, is multi-award winning.
Penson Gardens is the firm’s first project in Wales.
