A free online webinar will help Welsh small and medium-sized businesses understand how Google’s Gemini AI assistant can support productivity, research and everyday workplace tasks.
The AI Lunch & Learn: Getting Started with Google Gemini session will take place on Tuesday 24 November 2026, from 12.30pm to 1.15pm, hosted by Jordan Eardley, an AI Adoption Adviser with the Business Wales AI Awareness and Adoption Programme.
The webinar will explore how Gemini works alongside familiar Google applications, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet, and demonstrate how businesses can use AI to support research, drafting and information management.
Participants will also learn about the different versions of Gemini and how to assess which features may be appropriate for their business needs.
The session will cover:
- An introduction to Google Gemini and its capabilities
- Using Gemini alongside Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet
- Understanding free and paid options
- Applying AI to research, drafting and summarising information
- Working with images, PDFs and business notes, including NotebookLM
- Data protection, accuracy and responsible AI use
The webinar will conclude with a live question-and-answer session and an overview of further support available through Business Wales.
The session forms part of the fully funded AI Awareness and Adoption Programme, delivered by Business Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.
It is aimed at Welsh SME owners, founders, managers and employees, particularly those interested in using AI alongside existing Google applications.
No technical background is required, and the webinar is free to attend, with places limited to two delegates per business.
