Sporting greats gathered at Swansea’s LC on Thursday to give their seal of approval to the launch of a new sports drink on offer there.
Welsh Internationals Alun Wyn Jones and Dan Biggar, along with Olympic medalist Darren Campbell MBE, helped launch the PAS Pro Iso sports drink, which was developed by the WRU National squad nutritionist, Jon Williams. Pro Iso is the official isotonic supplier to the WRU and the Welsh FA. Darren is also a director of PAS.
The LC’s Centre Manager Emma Allchurch said: “We are always looking for ways to offer LC users to best experience and the most cutting edge fitness and this product really can be called the drink of champions.
“The fact that’s it’s the sports drink of choice for our national teams made it an easy choice and we were very keen on the Pro Zero which is a sugar free, no calorie electrolyte drink for our members. More of of our members are looking for sugar free drinks to hydrate and Pro Zero is perfect for this”
Craig Ciaburri The Food and Beverage Manager who decided to bring Pro Iso to the LC added: “We are proud to be the first public facility associated with Jon, Darren and Pro-Iso and I feel we are providing something no other facility can by supplying these drinks for our gym members and regular customers alike. We look forward to a long and successful relationship.”
