Cardiff-born tech entrepreneur Rich Woolley is to appear on the next episode of Money Pit, which will air on Dave this Thursday at 7.30pm. The show, which is hosted by comedian Jason Manford, sees members of the public risk their money by investing in the ideas of bright entrepreneurs.

Up to £20,000 can be invested in return for either a share of the company or idea in question or some sort of special reward. An investor has the ability to change their mind before the end of the episode. Rich will be presenting his tech start-up Paperclip, an app available on Android and iOS that lets users swap unwanted items for stuff they want or need. Having launched in the summer, it’s already reached 25,000 downloads. He said: “I’m excited to see Paperclip on Dave this coming Thursday – although somewhat anxious as I had two shots of Vodka before airing and as a result cannot remember how I carried myself. Praying for some favorable editing!”
