Workshops are taking place this week across the city centre where local businesses will get a chance to shape the development of a Business Improvement District.

The proposal for a Cardiff Business Improvement District (BID) is set to boost city centre investment by over £5 million over 5 years, and local business are being encouraged to take part in the discussions.

A city centre BID would see the business community itself investing in boosting the City Centre business environment, with the private sector able to decide the projects and services that should be delivered in their area to ensure that Cardiff has a stronger profile, attracts more visitors, increases footfall, additional spending and will encourage further investment.
