Free drop-in surgeries hosted by the Development Bank of Wales, Business Wales and Monmouthshire County Council next month will aim to help entrepreneurs and owners of firms discover more about funding for growth.
The Grow your Business drop-in surgeries will be held in Caldicot on Tuesday 22nd January from 9am to 5pm with thirty minute appointment slots available on a one-to-one basis. Micro loan investment executive Tara Lee-Fox will be present at the town’s Castle Gate Business Park (NP26 5AD) to discuss the range of funding available.
Ms Lee-Fox said:
“We help businesses to grow by providing flexible loans that are quick and simple to access and this funding can be used to finance the purchasing of much needed stock, plant, equipment or premises. It could also support cash flow for the purchase of another business.
“By working in partnership with Monmouthshire County Council and Business Wales, we are able to provide loans from £1,000 to £50,000 for local businesses. In fact, if you’re an established business looking for a loan up to £10,000 we can give you a decision in just two working days.
“We’re keen to talk to as many local business owners and managers as possible so please do come along to our drop in surgeries.”
To book a 30 minute slot businesses should email [email protected] by Monday 14th January.
Councillor Bob Greenland, Cabinet Member for Enterprise at Monmouthshire County Council added:
“We’re keen to support and encourage business growth and job creation. We’re delighted to recommend these helpful workshops to anyone hoping to boost their own business.”
