North Wales and Staffordshire-based dealer group WR Davies has secured £4.5m funding to invest in the business.

The third-generation family-run car and van group, headquartered in Welshpool, aims to upgrade premises and expand regionally using funding from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.

WR Davies represents Ford, Renault, Dacia, Citroen, DS, Nissan and Toyota.

The business is now rolling out an upgrade programme across its portfolio whilst identifying further opportunities to expand its regional footprint of dealerships in its core geographical areas.”

Established in 1924, WR Davies has an annual turnover of £94million and employs 249 people across its sites.
