Wild Creations, a Cardiff-based creative production company that designs and fabricates installations for some of the world's biggest attractions, has launched a new Design Internship Programme to help the next generation of design visionaries build careers in the theme park industry.
Open to graduates, career movers, and anyone looking to break into the sector, the paid three-month programme offers interns the opportunity to work alongside industry giants, develop specialist design software skills, and see world-class projects progress from conception to completion.
As a manufacturer for theme parks and attractions, Wild Creations aims to bridge the gap between emerging talent and a growing global industry. The Design Internship Programme has been created to provide a pathway into themed entertainment while developing emerging creative and technical talent.
Working directly with structural engineers, production teams and project managers, interns will gain hands-on experience across creative concept development, technical design and fabrication, while contributing to live client projects.

With recent Welsh Government statistics showing that the employment rate in Wales consistently tracks below that of the whole UK, and wider research showing that 17% of 16 to 24 year olds in Wales are NEET (not in employment, education or training), Wild Creations hopes to nurture creative talent from all backgrounds, and provide a valuable insight into a unique and exciting industry.
