Welsh Slate Team Celebrate CPD Hat-Trick!

Three members of Welsh Slate’s finance department have performed a hat-trick in their quest for Continuing Professional Development.

Credit supervisor Kelly Rowlands, financial accountant Moses Chinyama and management accountant Wendy Davies have all reached landmark stages in their personal career strategies.

Kelly, 36, who joined Welsh Slate as a temp over three years ago, has gained a Level 3 Diploma in Credit Management after 18 months of study several hours a week which she fits in around her six-year-old son. Not content with that, she is now embarking on a two-year degree course in Credit Management.

“It is going to be more intense and will concentrate more on the management side of things,” she said.

Wendy, 31, has reached the halfway point in her ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accounts) qualification, passing the seventh paper (financial reporting) of 14 after two years of distance learning.
