Welsh food companies are set to make an impact at the bi-annual International Food & Drink exhibition, held at London’s ExCel exhibition centre this March. Exhibiting at the IFE brings their produce to the attention of top buyers from retail stores, food journalists and caterers from companies like British Airways.
Among the Welsh contingent set to exhibit here are companies like Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company, Radnor Hills, Snowdonia Cheese, Beacon Foods, Llaeth Y Lan, Good Carma Foods, Anglesey Sea Salt, Nimbus Foods, Mario’s Ice cream and Samosaco. Every type of produce will be available including sea foraged ingredients such as Ships Biscuits and Mermaid Confetti from the Pembrokeshire Beach Food company, specialist ice cream and The Welsh participants come from all over the country and include many unusual ones such as the Authentic Curry company from Aberdare and Pancake World trading as Dessert World from Llantwit Major.
Some companies such as Bodnant are taking part for the first time whereas others are already known on the wider market. Anglesey Sea Salt Company is one of the latter group. It’s pure white salt crystals branded under the Halen Môn name are enjoyed all over the world.

This is the UK’s biggest food and drink exhibition, attracting the very best in pioneering global food and drink brands. This is very much the place to exhibit and attract attention, as it is attended by some of the industry’s biggest UK and international buyers such as Costco, Unilver and British Airways. Exhibition categories include bakery, cheese & dairy, drinks, Great British & Irish food, Grocery, Health & Wellbeing, Ingredients, Meat and Seafood, Snacks and Confectionery. There will also be live cooking demonstrations within the interactive demo kitchen staffed by some of the industry’s finest chefs.
The four day event is attended only by trade and professional people. It is not open to the general public. It takes place between 19 – 22 March.
