Views Sought on Electric Vehicle Charging Points Across Gwent

The five Gwent local authorities are exploring the feasibility of introducing more electric vehicle charging points across the region.

Providing electric vehicle charging points will help work towards a greener, cleaner environment.  Each council is keen to hear the views of its residents to help them plan future provision.

Councils are keen to ask whether the community would consider changing to an electric vehicle if more charging points were available within their county.

They are particularly keen to hear from residents who have or are considering an electric car but who cannot park or charge off-street near their property.

To give their views residents throughout Gwent are asked to complete an online survey at https://getinvolved.torfaen.gov.uk/pssu/electric-vehicle-charging-points ; residents will be asked to select which county borough they live in.  The deadline for responses is 20th May.

Residents unable to complete the survey online are asked to contact their council using the contact details below:

Residents should include their postcode when responding so that local authorities can understand where most demand exists. This information will be used as evidence to support funding opportunities.
