UpriseVSI Appoint New Chief Technology Officer

Cardiff-based web development and online booking specialist, UpriseVSI has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Robert Greyling as their new Chief Technology Officer.

With more than twenty years’ experience as an Enterprise Solutions Architect and Senior Software Developer, Mr Greyling brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the role. Prior to his appointment, he worked on major development projects across multiple sectors including Investment & Retail Banking, Healthcare, Fintech and Telecommunications for brands including Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland, NHS and T-Mobile.

Originally from South Africa, Mr Greyling will lead the technology strategy at UpriseVSI through the continued development of the company’s ‘think’ suite of technology products.  This will include the award-winning online booking system, thinkBooker, and flex, the staff scheduling system that UpriseVSI has been developing in conjunction with its client, Retail Merchandising Services (RMS) since 2016.

In addition, he will be responsible for leading the web development projects that UpriseVSI’s deliver for its clients, the recruitment of new talent to its growing development and testing teams and for ensuring the application of best practice across the business.

The appointment represents UpriseVSI’s ambitious plans for growth moving into 2020 and beyond, providing additional experience and leadership to the business as it continues to work on new technology innovations and deliver projects with high-profile brands and organisations in both the private and public sector.
