Centre of education excellence picks up award

The Penarth Learning Community which is made up of two new schools in Penarth – St Cyres and Ysgol y Deri has been held up as an exemplar of an excellent community project.

In a recent ceremony in London, the Penarth Learning Community was commended in the Constructing Excellence national awards.

This latest accolade follows close on the heels of recent awards for Best Educational Building, Most Accessible Building and Project of the Year.  In June the project was also recognised as the Best Inclusive Building at the LABC Cymru All Wales Building Excellence Awards.
