Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay Plc has announced a series of awareness events to introduce Welsh construction and advanced manufacturing businesses to the project’s tier one delivery partners.

Organised in conjunction with Welsh Government, Construction Futures Wales and Business Wales, the series starts at Liberty Stadium, Neath Road, Swansea on Tuesday 21 July. An initial schedule follows and details of all subsequent events will be listed here.

Tuesday 21st July, 8.30am Liberty Stadium, Swansea
Wednesday 22nd July, 7.30am Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli
Friday 24th July, 7.30am The Bridge Innovation Centre, Pembroke Dock

The project’s major delivery partnerships announced to date are: China Harbour Engineering Company Limited (CHEC) as Preferred Bidder for Marine Works; General Electric and Andritz Hydro as Turbine Preferred Bidders; Laing O’Rourke as Turbine Housing Preferred Bidder; and Alan Griffiths Ltd as Public Realm Ancillary Works Preferred Bidder.
