The Goodwash Company is a new Welsh social enterprise on a mission to change the world one wash at a time.

Producers of luxury soaps, all of The Goodwash Company’s products are cruelty-free, vegan accredited and all sourced with the finest natural Welsh ingredients. Targeted at those who like to wash well, but of the socially conscious persuasion. The profits of the company have so far supported over 15 sustainable projects across Wales, including a puppy farm rescue and homeless prevention charity Llamau.

Speaking about what motivated the company in the first place, Mandy Powell said;

“We wanted to do more, we could see the way the world was profit driven and that the focus was not on the right things. But what could we do that was fundamentally Welsh and would do good each time you used it?

The social enterprise has also enjoyed some success in awards. This year they were named as the Social Enterprise of the Year at the Wales Start-up Awards.

Speaking on the result Mandy commented;

“We are delighted to win Best Social Enterprise in Wales Award especially in such a competitive category this year. Thank you so much for the recognition.”

The Company is already selling their products abroad to the likes of the USA and Abu Dhabi, but they have more plans for the future. Having just opened a workshop in Conwy alongside their current one in Barry, their flagship store will be opening at the Goodsheds in Barry in June 2020.
