Welsh bathroom showroom The Tap End saw co-creator win Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018, and now in 2019 Justine Bullock is a finalist at the prestigious Designer Kitchen and Bathroom Awards.

Established in 2017 the Pontyclun based showroom is run by co-creators Justine Bullock and Lynda Rees.

“The award is a prestigious national award and Justine will be up against two long established London based companies. The fact that the other nominees are from London design practices means a lot to us, because it reaffirms to us that a Welsh showroom like ours can compete in the high-end luxury arena.” Lynda Rees commented on the nomination for her partner.

The award ceremony itself will take place in October at the prestigious Grand Connaught Rooms, London and is hosted by Designer KB Magazine, the leading authority in Kitchen and Bathroom design since 2000.

“Being a finalist for a design award of this calibre means an awful lot to me.” Says Justine. “At 32 and having been in the bathroom industry since my early 20’s, I am still fiercely passionate about what I do, and I am excited to see what the future holds for my company The Tap End. Awards like this shows the industry, and clients, that Wales has a lot to offer when it comes to creativity, and business.”

Carrying brands including Laufen, Hansgrohe, AXOR, Cosmic, BC Designs and Majestic the South Wales based bathroom showroom has already made a name for themselves for their design work in private domestic properties in and around the South Wales area. They also have clients as far reaching as London, Wigan and Brecon proving that distance isn’t an issue for this Welsh roots brand.
