Techniquest, the science discovery centre, has earned the 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, following a year of excellent feedback.
The educational charity, based in Cardiff Bay, has been awarded the accolade, now in its seventh year, based on reviews placed over the last 12 months.
The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence celebrates businesses that have consistently delivered high volumes of exceptional customer service, with recipients including restaurants, accommodation providers and attractions.
Home to 120-hands on exhibits, a Science Theatre, and a Planetarium, Techniquest has had a busy 12 months, during which it celebrated its 30th anniversary, launched a brand-new website and expanded its offering, now delivering events packages.
In May, the science discovery centre announced its plans to host an array of events and functions, including business meetings, team building days, Christmas parties, awards dinners, product launches and conferences, catering for up to 400 people.
Lesley Kirkpatrick, CEO of Techniquest, said:
“We’re thrilled to achieve the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. We work hard to deliver high standards of customer service, whether that’s in our exhibition space, in the coffee shop, or at the front desk.
“Receiving such wonderful feedback from our visitors is really a testament to the hard work of our team.”
