A Swansea franchisee has opened the city’s first Right at Home homecare service after securing an £83,000 finance package from HSBC. The funding has been used to launch Right at Home in Fforestfach, which has created seven new jobs for the local economy.

James Foley, who was awarded the Franchise in Swansea, has used the finance package to launch Right At Home in Fforestfach. The company has already created seven new jobs for the local economy, including two managerial staff and five health care professionals. The company is planning to employ a further 50 CareGivers to support Clients over the next year.

Right at Home, founded in 1995 in Nebraska, currently operates 52 services across the UK and serves more than 500 locations worldwide. The care business offers Clients companionship and support, senior, specialist and personal care, as well as rehabilitation and live-in care.

James Foley, owner of Right at Home Swansea, commented:

“I am delighted to pursue a career in the healthcare sector with support from HSBC, which has been an ambition of mine for a long time. Right at Home is dedicated to providing high-quality care that allows Clients to remain independent in the comfort of their own home. I am proud to be able to provide this service to the Swansea community.”

Steve Yorke, HSBC Area Director for South Wales, said:
