Thomas Carroll, the Welsh, insurance broking, risk and wealth management Group, continues to expand its Swansea HQ with five broker appointments.

A local team of 19 in-house Insurance Brokers, Health & Safety Consultants and Independent Financial Advisers, the new positions support the Group’s objective to help Swansea businesses survive and thrive by offering holistic and Covid-19 related risk solutions.

Located in Enterprise Park, Thomas Carroll Swansea is headed-up by Managing Director, Mark Sullivan.

Alun Jones, previously a Director at Enterprise Insurance, and Account Managers Stephanie Williams and Adam Read join Mark with an existing and varied client base from Enterprise Insurance, another local Swansea firm.

The trio have close links with long-established accreditation bodies and experience ranging from specialist schemes for energy assessors and retrofit coordinators, to property and liability insurances.

Further appointments include Account Executives, Craig Morris and Amanda Taylor.

Craig joins from Marsh with significant commercial risk experience across a wide range of sectors.

Amanda, who previously worked with NFU and Gallagher’s, joins with an insurance development background and expertise in food, drink, logistics, motor trade and transport risks.

Mark Sullivan, Managing Director of Thomas Carroll Swansea, commented:

“Our integrated approach to risk is what makes Thomas Carroll different.

Adapting our business to the changing environment and supporting clients to do the same continues to be a priority.

We have focused and restructured our efforts, in-house and with clients, around an increased demand for comprehensive risk solutions including employee benefits and wellbeing support, Covid-19 risk assessments, return to work risks and insurance-backed employment law advice. Plus, driving down costs in a challenging, hard market.

I am pleased to be able to grow and develop the Swansea team during uncertain times.

Investing in local talent is part of our long-term plan to remain a strong, independent Group for the benefit of our clients and the local business community.”
