Torfaen Business Voice (TBV), one of the area’s most successful and popular business networking clubs  has held its first members’ quarterly event of  2019 with more than 50 business people attending.

Held at the Greenmeadow Golf and Country Club, Cwmbran the event provided a forum for members and their guests  to make new contacts through the club’s  renowned, highly   successful  facilitated networking activity.

TBV Committee Member Deb Reader, Business Manager for Barclays Bank who are also members of TBV, hosted proceedings.

The opportunity to sponsor the event was taken up by Cwmbran based TBV members and  award winning accountancy firm Green & Co. Guest speaker Barrie Kenyon from Green & Co updated  attendees on the new Digital Taxation requirements. A  buffet and informal networking rounded off this event.

Deb Reader said

“We welcome  businesses from within Torfaen and surrounding areas  to become members of TBV. Tonight’s event has been well attended. We enjoyed listening to a fantastic speaker about the biggest change to the UK taxation system for many years especially given the 1st April deadline. It’s also been a pleasure to welcome  a number of new members who have recently joined us.”

TBV welcomes businesses at whatever stage they are at including  start ups, and established businesses and from across all sectors. Businesses can join from just £48.00 for annual membership which includes two places at the quarterly events. These typically  feature networking, buffet and speakers.
