Neath-based Hale Homes’ has had the first six homes reserved at its Bay View development which launched just over a week ago.

Eager buyers reserved their new homes alongside the beautiful Aberavon seafront with plenty of interest from prospective buyers also hoping to relocate to the area.

The much anticipated seafront development offers 13 two and three bedroom detached, semi-detached and link homes, and is located on the site of the former Old Bay View Social Club on Princess Margaret Way.

The Bay View development is due to be fully completed by Autumn 2016, with Hale Homes already beginning work on the cul de sac site.

There has been plenty of interest for the Bay View development from potential buyers, with outstanding bay views available from some of the homes, as well as the excitement involved with the regeneration of the local area – including the £13.4m investment in the state of the art Leisure and Fitness facility, currently under development on the site of the former Aberavon Lido.

Bay View has the small town benefits of excellent transport links and ease of access while offering superb seaside living, with the seafront’s landmark Café Remos just a stone’s throw from the luxury development.

Sharon Foligno, one of the buyers who reserved a home during the launch with her husband Roberto, said:

“We were looking at downsizing to a smaller property and were very excited to hear about the development on the beachfront at Aberavon. When we attended the launch we knew we had to buy one of the properties.

“We spend a lot of time on the seafront walking our dogs, with our family who live in Margam and Pyle, so when we were lucky enough to reserve the home we wanted, it was a dream come true.

“The beautiful sea view, being closer the family and the regeneration of the sea front, make it a very attractive development.”

Ruth Jones, Hale Homes’ Sales Manager said:

“We are delighted that six homes were reserved straight after our Bay View development launch. There is a huge amount of local interest in the properties and we are imminently expecting a fourth reservation.

“The regeneration of the Aberavon seafront is something that Hale Homes is delighted to be a part of. Investment in the local area has always been important to us and we are very happy to be working alongside the people of Aberavon to help transform the seafront over the next few years into one of South Wales’ most desirable locations.”
