After first opening its doors in Swansea’s Wind Street back in 2012, Independent Welsh business, The Smoke Haus has grown significantly and plans are now underway to open their third restaurant in Birmingham this Summer!
Founder of The Smoke Haus, Mark Power enthusiastically explains that:
“The restaurant’s themes are inspired by myself and my Fiancée Jayne and close friend Owen’s time in America and our passion for the food and culture we discovered there. We’ve handpicked all of our team, from our interior designers to renowned Mixologists and Experienced Chefs. Our attention to detail is unequivocal and this ethos will be travelling with us to our brand new site: Birmingham’s Brindleyplace. We’re all extremely excited to take our journey over the bridge and we couldn’t have picked a better location. The whole Team cannot wait to welcome everyone to our first English Haus!”
The menu reads like a meat-lovers paradise and undoubtedly their team’s one-off culinary creations have proved popular in both Cardiff and Swansea, with a host of loyal fans plus excited new diners flocking to both sites.
It is always a difficult choice to make between The Haus Monster Sandwich, a two-foot long roll with Smoke Haus Pulled Pork, Smoked Ham and tender locally sourced beef topped with Homemade cheese sauce. The unique donut burger, an 8oz Prime Beef Burger combined with Swiss cheese and Smoked Bacon in between two glazed donuts. Another option difficult to resist! There’s also creamy Homemade Mac & Cheese and the ‘impossible to obtain at home’ perfectly crisp Sweet Potato Fries.
Whatever it’s ingredients for success, it has worked. Be it, the mouth-watering menu, the artistic layout, or the friendly team who serve, collectively they have triumphed. Even the music at The Smoke Haus the is under your control, with their exclusive App. All of these aspects add to the relaxed and down to earth vibe Owners Mark, Jayne and Director Owen strive for above all else.
