Would you like the chance to hear the stories of inspirational businesswomen from across Wales? Would it be even better if you could do it from the comfort of your own home, at no cost to you? Well, you are in luck as Focus Newtown Enterprise Hub’s ‘She Can Start’ conference series is back for round three!
Following on from the hugely successful events in 2021, which saw over 200 people hear from the likes of Alana Spencer, owner of Ridiculously Rich by Alana and winner of BBC’s The Apprentice, and Elinor Davies-Farn, founder of Olew Hair, the Hub will be focusing on innovation and sustainability with four new speakers.
The conference will run on 11 March 2022 from 10:00 – 16:00 and will feature owner of award-winning sportswear company Badass Mother Runner, Beverley Logan, Marian Evans, owner of Elevate BC, co-founder of Flawsome Drinks, Karina Sudenyte who was listed on Forbes 30 under 30 Europe 2020, and finally Ellen Wakelam, co-founder and owner of In the Welsh Wind Distillery.

Women often feel that there is not enough support for them in business, and the aim of this series is to promote entrepreneurship and build a visible, connected ecosystem for them to collaborate and grow. The aim of this event is to highlight innovation-driven entrepreneurship and the importance of sustainability within business.
