Regional Law Firm Builds on Property Services with New Team Member

A regional law firm has welcomed Alisa Smith to their team as a Commercial Lawyer.

With 20 years’ experience in both residential and commercial property law, Alisa joins JNP Legal, which has offices in Merthyr Tydfil, Pontyclun, Cardiff and Nelson.

Alisa developed her expertise at prominent law firms Eversheds and Hugh James, where she managed a variety of complex property transactions.

At JNP Legal Alisa will serve a diverse client base, including small property developers, corporate clients, and high net worth individuals. Her work will encompass new developments, from site setup to plot sales, and advising on complex property transactions and infrastructure agreements. Alisa's expertise in these areas represents a significant expansion of the firm’s services.

Alisa is also tasked with building a new department within JNP Legal, aiming to further strengthen their capabilities and increase visibility in the sectors served.

Alisa said:

“I am thrilled to join JNP Legal and look forward to bringing my background in complex property and corporate transactions to the firm. It's an exciting opportunity to help develop a new department and expand our services to meet the diverse needs of our clients.”

Tony Williams, Managing Director at JNP Legal, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Alisa to our team. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and provide comprehensive legal support to our clients. Alisa’s proven track record and ambitious vision align perfectly with our goals, and we are excited for the future of our firm with her on board.”

Over the past six months, JNP Legal has experienced a substantial growth period, adding four new staff members – Connor Graves, Laura McNee, Abbie James, and Leanne Melardi. These additions have occurred across all four offices, increasing the total number of employees at the firm to 60.
