Cardiff Bay Business Centre, run by UK Steel Enterprise, has plugged into the future of car travel with an electric charging station.
Donated by Zero Carbon World, the stations can be used by visitors and a tenants alike to recharge or ‘top up’ their vehicles.
The initiative comes while the Centre, home to 47 businesses, is seeing a major £1 million refurb of Forgeside House, one of the historic elements remaining of the former East Moors steelworks, on which CBBC stands.
Manager of CBBC, which is owned and run by Tata Steel subsidiary UK Steel Enterprise, Andy Morris, said:
“The charging stations are most welcome at CBBC. We have been aware there is a demand for them, and we are delighted that they have been supplied to us by Zero Carbon World.
