Formed in 2010, Deepbridge was founded with the aim of building an investment team that could redefine the growth capital market.

Andrew Aldridge, Head of Marketing at Deepbridge Capital chats to Business News Wales about the company’s relationship with startup businesses.

What we’re really looking for is companies that are looking for considerable growth over the short to medium term and are looking at being disruptive.”

Andrew goes on to say that: “Across the UK, [Deepbridge] are renowned as being a great place to start and scale a business, and Wales is no different from the rest of the UK.” He describes how there is no funding required for any early stage business.

Deepbridge believe that early stage funding is critically important. Andrew says:

“We're very lucky in the UK that we have some great access to funding. And again, Wales is no different, Development Bank of Wales is hugely supportive of these businesses and number of venture capital firms such as ourselves working in the area. But internationally, we are renowned in the UK for being a great place to start and scale a business.”
