Keytree, firmly established as a world leader in delivering exceptional enterprise digital solutions, is expanding its Wales operation creating a Managed Service Centre of Excellence, R&D, Innovation and Delivery Centres. The company has moved into a new office location in the heart of Port Talbot, South Wales, with a capacity of 120 staff. Existing staff are predominantly from the Swansea Bay area and Keytree is committed to investing in and developing the highest quality talent from the region. Keytree has moved into the newly renovated magistrates court building in Port Talbot, transforming it into a state-of-the-art building, demonstrating Keytree’s commitment to providing its clients with the highest quality onshore, nearshore and offshore global services.

The new Managed Services Centre will enable continued growth, fuelled by demand from existing clients for which Keytree provided its consulting and implementation services and those who had implementations handled by other SAP partners. The office will also support clients who have implemented Keytree's industry packaged solutions, Bridge for Retail, CPG and Professional Services and will provide specialist capabilities to clients who wish to accelerate their transition from SAP's older ECC6 versions to SAP's integrated cloud suite which includes S/4HANA, C/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Ariba.

On making the announcement Keytree CEO Dan McNamara commented

“As an organisation we are committed to delivering the highest quality solutions for our customers. This expansion in South Wales will allow us to continue to innovate and expand, attract and develop the best people and support them in achieving their potential which will undoubtedly benefit our existing and future customer base. We look forward to continued growth in the region and further engagement with local businesses and the wider community.”

Following the launch of a South Wales base in Port Talbot two years ago, Keytree has established close relationships with various educational bodies including Swansea and Cardiff Universities and Neath Port Talbot College and will look to recruit the best graduates from these organisations as the operation continues to thrive. Keytree also has a close working relationship with South Wales based Sports & Wellbeing Analytics who, supported by Keytree and Swansea University, has designed and built an award-winning head impact management and monitoring system, PROTECHT, to better understand and prevent issues relating to concussion in impact sports. Currently in use at Ospreys Rugby and Cardiff Blues, the ground-breaking technology utilises sensors in a mouthguard to display data resulting from head impacts.

Keytree believes in supporting the communities in which it operates and South Wales is no exception – as a sponsor of Port Talbot Town Football Club Youth Academy, Talycopa AFC and Swansea’s Ospreys Rugby club and will continue to seek out further sponsorship and investment opportunities.

In addition to its headquarters in London, Keytree has recently established a development centre in Bangalore, India, to work with large, medium and small enterprises developing and executing their cloud digital transformation strategies. It has an office in Madrid which specialises in agile delivery, innovation and business development in the region, employing over 60 staff. Keytree also has an office in Toronto, which is responsible for growing the North American arm of its business and Sydney, focussed on business development in the Asian market, making Keytree a truly global organisation servicing its customers 24/7.

Keytree managing director Tim Kyle commented

“We are thrilled by the success of our South Wales base over the last two years which is a testament to the dedication and skill of the entire team. We have a number of exciting projects and initiatives in the pipeline for the coming years and the capabilities of our new office will be pivotal.”
