Hospitality entrepreneurs looking for a new challenge could take on one of Llandudno’s most popular restaurants, which has come onto the market.

The Mediterranean Restaurant, which has been serving customers in the North Wales town for more than 25 years, may soon be changing hands as current owners Ibrahim and Cindy Atay look to move on to pastures new.

Located on Mostyn Street, the busy restaurant serves a plentiful selection of freshly cooked Turkish, Greek, Italian, Spanish and French cuisine, with its range of fresh fish dishes gaining particular praise on Google, Facebook and Tripadvisor.

Uniquely styled with bespoke wall décor and lighting, creating a warm and friendly ambiance for diners, The Mediterranean Restaurant benefits from repeat trade from locals and Llandudno’s many tourists due to its excellent location.

Business broker Hilton Smythe is marketing the restaurant at £85,000 +SAV.

Mrs Atay, co-owner of The Mediterranean Restaurant, said:

“We’re sad to be selling the restaurant as it’s been a massive part of our lives for the past 26 years, but due to my own health issues we’re having to find a new owner. We also have a takeaway business, which will be our immediate focus before we also put that up for sale in the near future.”

Gareth Smyth, CEO of Hilton Smythe, said:

“Ibrahim and Cindy have worked hard and created something special with The Mediterranean Restaurant.  I’m sure the people of Llandudno will be sad to see them sell up, but they’ll no doubt they’ll continue to have their Turkish takeaway nearby.

“They’ve done a fantastic job of building up The Mediterranean Restaurant as a business, and it will be a great investment for anyone looking to run their own restaurant.  It has an outstanding reputation and is ideally located in the centre of Llandudno.  This really is a profitable and ready to walk in business opportunity not to be missed.”
