Nice-Pak Succeeds in Sustainability

Flint based sustainable wet wipe company Nice-Pak International have been recognised at the prestigious Daily Post Business Awards, celebrating achievements of firms across North Wales.

Nice-Pak were awarded The David Williams Judges' Choice Award – picked by the judges from all the entries. This award was presented by Bangor University who praised the company for their commitment to sustainability across products, packaging, and manufacturing practices.

They were finalists for the Green Business Award and Innovation and Technology in Life Sciences Award for SecureFlushTM.

Receiving the award, Alison Roberts, Communications and CSR Manager commented,

“Nice-Pak celebrate 30 years manufacturing in Flint this year. This is a tremendous achievement for us, for our people, our devoted colleagues across R&D, Packaging and Operations who’ve put sustainability at the heart of our business.

“We feel it is vital for both our business and the wet wipe industry to promote plastic-free products and recyclable packaging to customers. We have made a dedicated commitment to this in our business and our people have got behind us.”

This is the second time this year that the global manufacturer for retailers and global brand owners has been recognised for their sustainability practices, attaining a platinum award from global sustainability ratings provider Ecovadis in July.
