New Support Workshops for Businesses in Monmouth and Abergavenny

Free start – up workshops, hosted by Business Wales the Welsh Government’s flagship business support service are taking place to help and support people from and Monmouth and Abergavenny who are considering starting or running their own business.

The start-up workshops cover a variety of topics, including developing a business idea, sourcing finance, business planning, pricing and marketing, and will take place between 9.15am and 4.00pm on Wednesday, 31st October in Abergavenny’s Youth Centre (Old Hereford Road) and 9.15am and 4.00pm in the Bridges Centre in Monmouth on Tuesday, 13th November.

The courses aim to aid budding entrepreneurs to take the plunge and turn their business ideas into reality. All of the workshops are designed and delivered by experienced Business Wales advisers and provide knowledge, useful facts and practical advice to people who want to develop their business skills and get ready for self-employment.

Councillor Bob Greenland, Cabinet Member for Enterprise at Monmouthshire County Council, said:
