New Senior Appointments for RCT Homes’ Neighbourhoods Team

Wales’s largest registered social landlord, RCT Homes – which owns and manages over 10,000 homes in Rhondda Cynon Taff – has made two new senior appointments to its Neighbourhoods Directorate.

RCTAngela Wetherall has been appointed to the position of Deputy Director of Neighbourhoods, leading a portfolio of customer centric services across the organisation including Neighbourhood Services, Care and Support and Customer Services.

Originally from Merthyr Tydfil, Angela joins RCT Homes with rich experience in operational and service delivery, primarily in the Energy and Transport sector where she has held Senior Management roles.

Angela has been joined by newly-appointed Head of Neighbourhoods, Emma Howells. Emma has over fifteen years’ experience in housing and regeneration, gained at numerous roles in England and Wales. She joins RCT Homes from United Welsh Housing Association where she held a Housing Management role.

The Neighbourhoods Directorate at RCT Homes underwent a restructure in 2015 and many of its staff are now based in the community, so the Neighbourhood Services team can focus on delivering a more tailored service that is responsive to its tenants’ needs, with the ability to offer even more services on residents’ doorsteps thanks to improved mobile technology.

Angela will lead on embedding this new way of working into the organisation and provide strategic support to RCT Homes Executive Management Team.
