The construction division of The Premier Group, a specialist in retail forecourts and commercial fuel installations, has recently appointed a new financial controller.

Rebecca Cook from Skewen joins the Swansea-based firm with 25 years’ experience in the financial sector, having held various senior finance roles. She most recently held a management accountant position at a nutritional supplements company before joining The Premier Group. She has also worked as a financial controller at a food manufacturer in Swansea.

With a passion for accountancy, Cook’s experience has also seen her teach AAT and ACCA accountancy qualifications, as well as A Level business, at several educational institutions in the South Wales region.

With the construction division of The Premier Group recently being acquired by a new owner with ambitious plans to grow and diversify the company, Cook’s strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail and experience in training and developing others will be a valuable contribution to this journey.
