Motorpoint to Open New Branch in Swansea

Motorpoint is set to create 25 new roles with the opening of its latest branch in Swansea.

The UK’s leading independent car retailer is busy transforming the former B&Q on Samlet Road in the city ready to open in late January 2020. The roles will cover areas such as Customer Service, Management, Sales and Vehicle Preparation at the ten-acre branch close to the Swansea Enterprise Park.

Motorpoint, a Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For, is planning on holding a number of Assessment Centres in Swansea in early December for potential applicants considering a career with the company. All new recruits will benefit from a bonus scheme, pension, healthcare, paid time off each month as well as days off for birthdays, getting married or moving house.

The opening of Motorpoint Swansea will complement the company’s network of existing branches in Birmingham, Birtley, Burnley, Castleford, Chingford, Derby, Glasgow, Newport, Oldbury, Peterborough, Sheffield and Widnes. It will be open seven days a week, including until 8pm weekdays. It will also offer plenty of free parking as well as free Wi-Fi and a customer café serving a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.

Motorpoint Swansea will stock 500 nearly new vehicles, all under three years old and with less than 25,000 miles, from 30 different manufacturers, when it officially opens it doors on Friday, January 31, 2020 – with a further 6,500 vehicles available in group stock. Every vehicle will come with the balance of manufacturer’s warranty and be available to drive away the same day.

Motorpoint are committed to making car buying easy which is why, backed by the Motorpoint Price Promise, Motorpoint will also refund the difference to any customer within seven days of their order if they find the same car from a competitor. As an added bonus, it will also give the customer £50 worth of Amazon vouchers to spend.
