Llandeilo based Evan-Evans has unveiled its unique range of Ales for Christmas 2016. This year there are four exciting beers, which have been brewed by James Buckley, Head Brewer. Some old favourites back by popular request, others new and exciting to tickle the taste buds of the discerning drinker.

Each year Evan-Evans leads the field of Welsh Brewers in Wales, providing real ale drinkers with the finest selection of festive beers.

James Buckley Head Brewer said:

‘Each year we brew a range of Christmas ales; each one is different, from Grand Cru Christmas ale to our new Fat Turkey, a first Christmas ale for our J Buckley range.

These are four fun beers for Christmas, packed full of flavour and each one very different.

People want to try new beers and new flavours, and Christmas is no exception.

The drinkers of Wales are set to have a great time drinking great ales brewed in Wales.’

Llandeilo based Evan-Evans is now the leading specialist brewer in Wales, and has strong export markets in Scandinavia and continental Europe.

An Evan-Evans Group spokesman said:

‘2016 has been a great year for us at Evan-Evans, we have seen significant growth in our traditional cask ale market, and our new bottle range has become a major income stream for us. We now export to Sweden, Hong Kong, and shortly to new markets in Spain, and France.

We are now finalising our bottling plant commissioning and then we will launch our contract packaging business, which will see us bottle over 3 million bottles a year. We will be creating 4 new jobs in January, with a further four more later in the year.

2017 sees the Buckley family, who own Evan-Evans celebrate 250 years of family brewing in Wales a major landmark in the history of Welsh Brewing.’
