Inquiries Into Broadcasting and Devolution Announced

Following its first meetings in the new parliament, the Welsh Affairs Committee has decided to look into the future of broadcasting in Wales and the UK Government’s plans for further devolution. Full terms of reference and requests for written evidence will be issued in September.

Background

The Welsh Affairs Committee is appointed by the House of Commons to examine the work of the Secretary of State for Wales and to examine policies of the UK Government which have an impact in Wales. It holds inquiries and makes recommendations to the Government through its reports.
