Bouygues UK has joined with ICE Wales Cymru to sponsor this year's STEM Ambassador of the Year Award which recognises their important work to bring Civil Engineering to young people and encourage them to become tomorrow’s engineers.
STEM Ambassador of the Year is part of the prestigious Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Awards suite and celebrates the ambassador who has shown greatest commitment to work with schools and organisations to promote civil engineering as a career.
Keith Jones, Director ICE Wales Cymru, said:
STEM ambassadors are vital in pointing the way for all to get involved in the great, rewarding career that is civil engineering. We welcome this sponsorship which will aid our goal to get more young people on board”.
Bouygues UK has always encouraged their young people to become STEM Ambassadors and ICE Wales Cymru are pleased to welcome the organisation as a valued sponsor of this competition
Linda Barnes of Bouygues UK said:
Giving STEM Ambassadors the recognition they deserve is imperative if they are to continue to make a real difference by inspiring and informing young people about the benefits of a career in civil engineering”.
