The London corporate team of top 100 UK law firm, Hugh James, has advised the shareholders of Peach PE Holdings Limited on the investment in the company by Fluidone Limited.

Peach PE Holdings limited is the holding company for Marathon IT Services Limited. Microsoft gold partner Marathon has a pedigree in delivering cloud services management, with the ability to support modern workplaces and security and contact centres.

A Hugh James team supported the shareholders throughout the transaction, led by London Corporate/Commercial Partner, Andrew Hoad.

Andrew had previously acted for Tim Thrower and Iain Maclean when they undertook the MBI of Marathon in 2020 and Hugh James also acted for Marathon in its acquisition of William Jarrod Partnership Ltd in 2021.

Commenting on the transaction, Andrew Hoad said today:

I have enjoyed supporting the Peach PE Shareholders on their journey, from the initial establishment of the company through the acquisitions of Marathon and William Jarrod. The Hugh James team were delighted to be able to act for them again on this complicated transaction. We wish the team every success with the growth of the business following Fluidone’s investment.

Marathon CEO Iain Maclean said:

We were delighted with the service that we got from Andrew and the Hugh James team. This is the third transaction that Andrew has supported us on, and we are always impressed by his speed of response and the commerciality he displays. We also appreciated his calmness and guidance during the more challenging moments of the transaction. Andrew and his team give that personal touch whilst being able to draw on Hugh James scale to provide holistic advice in all the deals that we have done.

The Hugh James London team has vast experience in the technology sector and has previously advised on the disposal of a number of IT Consultancies and SaaS businesses.

Harrison Clark Rickerbys advised Fluidone Limited.
