Pembrokeshire County Council has unveiled its regeneration draft master-plans for Haverfordwest Town Centre, which include recording studios, a flagship heritage centre and a key focal space in Castle Square.

The plans were shown as the council announced it would be receiving a further grant of almost £300,000 to go towards a new County Library in the town. The funding will form part of a £3.4 million scheme to transform the town’s Riverside indoor market.

The new facility, on the riverside, will also house a fully integrated Tourism Information Centre, a Life Hub zone – with access to financial and health information – as well as a coffee shop and a top class exhibition gallery through a ground-breaking partnership with the National Library of Wales.
