2017 was a great year for Welsh cricket, seeing Glamorgan reach the Finals Day of the T20 Blast for the first time in 14 years.
Here at Glamorgan Cricket, we are thrilled to be promoting our seven home T20 group matches for 2018, welcoming visitors and local cricket enthusiasts to the wonderful SSE SWALEC. Kick-starting in the summer, the T20 Blast will run from July 8th until August 17th, giving us a six-week run of home games.
Expecting another exciting year of first-class cricket, we invite you to come and watch these games unfold with us, making use of our various hospitality packages.

Hosting seven games, four of which take place on a Friday evening, visitors can relax, unwind and watch the following games in comfort:
Glamorgan vs Sussex Sharks: Sunday 8th July – After starting our T20 campaign away to Hampshire, the first game at the home of Welsh cricket will see Glamorgan go head-to-head with 2009 winners, Sussex Sharks. Neither side took to the stumps in last season’s fixture with a no-result called due to the rain. Both sides were awarded one point a piece.
Glamorgan vs Somerset: Friday 20th July – Another no-result in 2017, local rivals Somerset, reached the knockout stage for the first time since 2013 last summer. Glamorgan won by a single run when the sides met in a thrilling game at the County Ground.
Glamorgan vs Kent Spitfires: Sunday 29th July – Kent Spitfires have reached the knockout stage just once in six years. The two sides met just once in last season’s tournament, with Glamorgan sealing a 25-run win in Canterbury.
Glamorgan vs Gloucestershire: Friday 3rd August – Gloucestershire finished bottom of the South Division in last season’s competition but claimed a win away to Glamorgan. Rain affected play between the two sides, with Gloucestershire handed a 5-run win via the Duckworth Lewis method.
Glamorgan vs Essex Eagles: Tuesday 7th August – Essex Eagles failed to reach the knockout stage for the first time in six years last season and will be expected to bounce back this summer.
Glamorgan’s home match was abandoned without a ball bowled but the return fixture was an epic encounter. The Chelmsford crowd were treated to a record-breaking 5-wicket win for Glamorgan with a total of 443 runs scored.
Glamorgan vs Hampshire: Friday 10th August – Another of last season’s semi-finalists, Hampshire have reached the knockout stage in eight of the last nine seasons. The 2010 and 2012 winners won by 22 runs in this fixture last year.
Glamorgan vs Surrey: Friday 17th August – The final group game of 2018 will pit the 2017 South Division’s top two against one another. Last year’s match was abandoned without a ball played but Glamorgan won a highly-he reverse fixture by 6 runs. 2017 South Division’s top two against one another. Private Box Package: £110 + VAT per person – This includes a match ticket, private box balcony seating, a three-course meal, dedicated waiter service as well as a signed Glamorgan Cricket bat.
Mixed Suite Package: £100 + VAT per person – This includes a match ticket, a table in a pitch viewing suite and a three-course meal.
